- Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Scottie Koonce and I am a senior at WKU. This semester I am completing a Middle School Education degree (Social Studies/Language Arts)as I student teach at Daviess County Middle School, home of the Panthers, in Owensboro, Kentucky. Mrs.Misty Westerfield is my supervising teacher and she has welcomed me to her 6th grade Geography classes.
