School in the Daviess County School District has been cancelled today due to hazardous conditions.
As a result of the snow day, I'm going to take this opportunity to visit South Middle School in Henderson, Kentucky. This is the school that I worked at for three years as a classified personnel (In-House Suspension supervisor). There are some wonderful teachers in the building that I would like to observe and this offers a great opportunity!
It was nice to see old friends today and I had an oppurtunity to talk with Mr. Peckenpaugh (Principal) and o.k. my visit to the classrooms. I visited three classes and onle planning period on this day including:
Mrs. Jennifer Jarrett - Planning/U.S. History (8th grade)
Mr. Jerry Grimes & Mrs. Lyndsay Koonce - Language Arts/Collaboration (6th grade)
Mr. Andrew Raley - U.S. History (8th grade)
Mrs. Callie Carroll - Language Arts (7th grade)
